I want to thank Jacquie of Joy Cottage, and Pallavi of Curating Thoughts, for recommending me for another Sunshine Blogger Award! I sincerely appreciating your thinking of me.
As I recently participated in one of these, I wanted to do things a bit differently today, and simply give a special shout-out to Jacquie and Pallavi.
The second you encounter Jacquie, you will immediately recognize her as one of the sweetest human beings on the planet. She sincerely shares faith and encouragement in several avenues, writes beautiful works of art, and especially loves to minister to children. Some of my favorite posts of Jacquie’s include:
Pallavi is also a new acquaintance, and has proven to be a blessing in my life already. She writes thoughtful, beautiful poetry that provides food for thought, and allows glimpses into her faith, life, and family. Some of my favorite posts of Pallavi’s include:
Please give them both some well-deserved love if these topics resonate with you.
Feel free to stick around for my answers to their questions if you want, otherwise, here’s to cultivating new friendships with all of you!
What is at the heart of why you blog?
I went through a difficult stage after my son was born. Coming out of that, I realized that the answer to finding confidence and joy again in my life was in knowing who I am― a daughter of God.
I wanted to share this journey, because I know I’m not the only one trying to answer that question. I cherish community, and I want to share His love with others when they feel lost, too.

Any year where traveling to the moon is commonplace, because I’d love to see it up close. And I watch a lot of Star Trek 😅.
