Sorry I missed last week’s entry. We were off on an adventure:
Getting outdoors has been my salvation lately, and I’m grateful to live somewhere so beautiful. When I’m out in nature, I feel God thinking about me.
Sometimes, I wonder if He finds the learning process warmly humorous. My little girl has reached the why stage.
Why is it called a T-shirt when there is no letter “T”?
Why do ants live underground?
Why does it rain?
Her curiosity makes me smile, and it’s fun to see if I am up to the challenge. My kids are so smart, and my heart swells to see them grow. It’s definitely bittersweet 🙂
On another humorous note, my therapist suggested I take a break from “self-development” – hahaha! (In other words, anything I do for me-time). I haven’t listened to any of my favorite podcasts or kept up with my social media accounts for a couple of weeks. But it was a refreshing break.
Instead, I attempted to figure out what else I enjoy doing! I read a few romance novels, learned how to crochet a new granny square, and (of course) binge-watched the new Star Trek: Picard series, which I highly recommend.
Here’s to learning new things about ourselves!
P.S.- What do you like to do for fun? Any recommendations??
