Each day, laptop and children permitting, I’ll share a prompt that’s been on my mind, and a few of my thoughts.
You are welcome to share your own perspective in the comments, or just journal it out!
What has my biggest struggle been today?
Is it weird that I ask myself this question on a daily basis?
I’ll tell you why.
Because I don’t believe in reading the scriptures as a rote, unconscious checkmark on the to-do list.
And, I feel like I’ve tried every study manual on the planet (which is probably not true), but, in the end, I settled on this:
Every day, I take my biggest struggle to God, and I ask Him, “What do You think?”
Before I started doing this, I had no idea how often God willingly answers prayers. He may not always tell me what I want to hear, but He always tells me, “I see you”, and, somehow, that’s enough.
What is your biggest struggle today? And what does God have to say about it?
❤ Jenny
Deciding how to prioritize the events of my day is many times my biggest struggle. I can be quite indecisive, so the problem sometimes comes when I take too long making a decision and then I run out of time, leaving me no choice in what to do.

Yes! I feel this! I am so indecisive as well. It’s funny at first, but that crunch time you describe is real. It can limit options. Thank you for sharing, Brandon.

My biggest struggle today is accepting that I can’t do it all. It’s actually been a struggle for a while.

I feel that, sweet friend. It’s hard to prioritize, because one person can only do so much! And, it’s hard to let go and to let go of the right things at that. I have something to share on this that helped me. Maybe tomorrow. Thanks for sharing, Pallavi ❤

My biggest struggle is just trying to hold on to some semblance of hope, with how much has been falling apart and how much is so uncertain right now.

Holding onto hope is absolutely a concerted effort sometimes. It’s been such an unprecedented year. Thank you for sharing, friend.

I love that you intentionally make opportunity for the Lord to respond to you. In this time of sheltering (isolation), I have been working on casting down thoughts that attempt to rob me of my joy. It is amazing that the Creator loves us and gives us tools to walk in His way. Jenny, blessings of this season as we focus on Him who makes abundant, eternal life possible.

I know a few people who keep a prayer journal and love it. Good for you! I’m so glad it’s been meaningful for you.

My biggest struggle is being put in the middle of family disagreements about the pandemic. God has answered my prayers more than once but this pandemic has been difficult to say the least! He has given me the strength to stick to my ways.
