Each day, laptop and children permitting, Iβll share a prompt thatβs been on my mind, and a few of my thoughts.
You are welcome to share your own perspective in the comments, or just journal it out!
Are there any pictures of favorite moments, places, or people that I keep around?
After almost two years of living in our new home, we finally hung up our pictures! π
Still working on taking Christmas down, but that’s another story…
But, having family pictures on the walls again reminds me of the people I want to tell my children about, some of the hard times, and a lot of the good times.
At one point, my son looked at Joe and I’s engagement photo and said, “Mommy and Daddy growed up!”

Haha… Yep. Gotta love the innocent honesty of children.
Are there any special pictures you keep? Do you have a photo wall?

I’ve never liked photos much. I don’t really have anything on the wall at all, except for my retro game room. In there I have tons of posters from the 80s and 90s, and several works from my friend who does pixelated art by melting plastic beads together and usually brings a new one to my birthday party every year, and the Tear Down The Wall painting which I think you saw on my blog a while back. The room that is theoretically an office, but in practice just a place to stick stuff that has no other place, I have a lot of sports-related stuff on that wall, most of which I got free attending games, but now that I’m boycotting sports I really should take it down.

We don’t have a photo wall cos it’s likely to fall down with the kids being silly. But I love looking at other people’s walls.

Haha I feel that! We don’t have a full wall, just a few pictures here and there. Maybe someday when they are older. My mom leaves a photo album out on the coffee table at her house, and we all love to go through it.

I took the liberty of reading the comments and I was surprised because I thought all white people have photo walls (blame it on the movies I watch π)

Haha! Television is definitely an unrealistic expectation. I’m sure I do that, too. Even with books.
