Each day, laptop and children permitting, I’ll share a prompt that’s been on my mind, and a few of my thoughts.
You are welcome to share your own perspective in the comments, or just journal it out!
Who are my everyday heroes?
How about heroes who are close to home?
Yesterday, I was thinking how grateful I am for the people who do life with me – my husband, my kids, my mom, my neighbors…
It’s cheesy, but it really is the little things. The invite to come and hang out. The listening to me vent. The snuggles and smiles and unconditional love.
Sometimes, we spend so long looking for the giant gestures and the superheroes, that we miss out on the small, daily moments with the people who make life worth living.
I’m recommitting to keeping my eyes open this week.
Who are you grateful for?

I don’t look at anyone as a hero, per se, but I admire my mom for raising me and my siblings. I also admire a local coffee shop owner that I know. He also has another side business. He’s now decided to sell the coffee shop and go through discipleship school. I am not a gambler and have a hard time trying things that would change my life so drastically without knowing if they will work. I admire his faith.

That is definitely brave! It’s scary to go after dreams and not have that security as a backup.

Aww..it’s a blessing if you find your heroes living with and around you. I feel the same way! My husband and my mom will top the chart for sure. I couldn’t do without My husband’s relentless positivity towards life and my mom’s unyielding capacity to listen to me talk/share/discuss…

Those qualities are so important! Someone who really listens is such a gift.
And thank you! I love that – far away but near in heart. I’m so grateful to have you for a friend, too, Pallavi ❤

Hi Jenny, mine is very similar to yours. I would add, my grandkids, my aunts and uncles, my church family, My Lord Jesus. Others……Abraham Lincoln, Moses, Jesus half brother James, Ronald Reagan, many of my teachers and coaches.
