Each day, laptop and children permitting, Iβll share a prompt thatβs been on my mind, and a few of my thoughts.

What does it mean to be an “adult”?
Honestly, all week long I’ve needed to call the doctor’s office about a code for my insurance and a question on my medication π.
I’ve been putting it off, but as I sat down to this post I finally did it!! Thanks for the motivation, friends.
We also have a lot of paperwork items happening this week. We’re putting together what we need for tax season (anyone else?), and prepping information for our estate planning (creating a trust and will).
So I feel really adult today.
One thing I remember from my college years is the first time I realized you have to pay for toothpaste, toilet paper, and shampoo. I just thought those things magically appeared π€£.
What do you consider “adulting”?

Adulting involves taking care of details, responsibilities, and yes, taxesπ

Having to pay property tax. I never knew you were taxed just for owning things. Doesn’t make sense to me. I paid for it already. Why do I have to KEEP paying for it?!

π We are with you! My husband smiled and said “taxation is theft”.
