Are You Comfortable Being Uncomfortable?

Last week’s article about Human Trafficking was not the only difficult conversation I’ve had recently. Within the last two weeks I’ve talked with trusted friends about: being picky in your friendships, why I choose to homeschool, immigration, taking in refugees
patriotism, abortion, capitalism, specific beliefs about God and heaven (including eternal marriage, sin, and being saved), shame

Wednesday Walk Along: Parenting To The B.E.S.T. Of My Ability

First things first, I am NOT the best parent out there 😂. In fact, I am a BIG believer that there is no “best” way. You are simply the best parent for your child because you love and know them best. And, when you are fired up, what does silence have to do with anything anyway? Continue reading The Power of Silence — and How to Make it Work for You

Honesty Counts: Honoring Your Inner Truths

Here’s an insight into the female mind for you: PMS = Truth Serum. Unorthodox, I admit, but I can’t be the only one who feels this way, right? Ladies, does “that time of the month” break down all of your regular inhibitions, too? If we’re being truthful, it isn’t always for the better, but speaking of being truthful… Continue reading Honesty Counts: Honoring Your Inner Truths
